I went there with a lot of optimism, also given the several good reviews and few negative ones. I was disappointed. We enter and the waitress, always kind, says that the bathroom is not accessible for some reason. You can't open and operate a restaurant without a bathroom. Absurd. If they do an inspection they'll shut you down. You fix the bathroom first and then you get the restaurant up and running. Oh well, we are in post-Covid times and you have to make up for it, but there is a limit to everything. Little choice between starters, first and second courses, about three choices each. Good bread along with fried scrocchierello. Very poor for 5 people. Decent meat starters even if a little pretentious. Second courses of such and such meat, good flavor, but meat with a lot of fat and therefore a lot to discard, especially the steak, the baked potatoes are very good. Very expensive wine. A decent bottle of prosecco costs 23 euros, really too much, as does a red primitivo, good, but at 26 euros too, too expensive. To order dessert, after 20 minutes of no one being seen outside to take orders, I had to call inside to have the waitress come. A chocolate salami for 5, decent even if too cold, half frozen. They had put the tables outside, and given the bad and slightly cold weather they had closed everything around with opaque plastic tarpaulins, so it had become a sort of long and narrow tent, given the certainly not wide pavement. So everyone indoors, no green pass checks and oh well, we were all vaccinated, but a lot of people, before, during and after, smoked like crazy and being practically closed above, below and above, there was a smell of smoke really annoying. The management nothing. All normal. I bill 50 euros each with a little tip. Too. I understand the desire to make up for it, but you also have to pay attention to the details if you want your customers to spend a fair amount. Do your best.

We have already been to this place and always eaten very well. This time a couple of cuts of raw meat weren't the best but overall it was a good dinner. The Cesanese and the artisanal "schiacciate" served with bread are very good. The raw mix is good even if I fail at the clarity of the menu. If a course is for 2 people and the price is not followed by the abbreviation CAD. the customer thinks it is the total price of the dish x 2. The prices are a little high but overall I would recommend it in view of some adjustments.
