We had a wonderful evening at this bar. The bartender was very friendly and welcomed us warmly. Although our Japanese is limited he went to great efforts to communicate with us, and it's an evening of our trip we will not soon forget. Arigatou gozaimasu! Such a cool little bar... Stumbled across it whilst waiting for our reservation at Tsujifusa (also across the road). What a great little find, gorgeous barman, great Jazz and lots of Whiskey. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000

Open the door and enter "Cool and Smooth" in the flesh. Referring to this gem as a Whiskey/Jazz bar is such a huge understament because it is so much more. The space is just big enough and classy, the bartender/owner is timeless cool, and the music is vinyl, enough said. Walk in, enjoy and experience a memorable cocktail that will get you wishing you had a Bar Yanagi within walking distance of your home. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
