Very disappointed with my experience at Zambrero today. I ordered a regular vegetarian burrito and noticed the staff member was adding extremely small portions of ingredients. I specifically asked for 1 spoon each of pinto beans and black beans, but she only added about half a spoon of each. When I politely asked if that was the regular quantity, she confidently said yes, which honestly felt misleading. For the price customers pay, the portion size was unacceptable. The burrito barely had any filling and felt rushed and poorly made. Customer service was also disappointing because instead of fixing the issue, my concern was ignored. I’ve been to other Zambrero stores before and never received portions this small. This experience felt like a waste of money, and I won’t be returning to this location again unless service and consistency improve. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hi Naman, thanks for reaching out about your experience with us. We internally investigated your review via CCTV and discussions with staff on shift. It appears from these two that the Toasted Burrito you ordered was built to the standard set by Zambrero Head Office. Vegetarians get two 30gm scoops of beans along with 4 50gm scoops of Rice, which was provided to you. As you also ordered a Toasted Burrito, this does not include lettuce and is toasted in our press which both of these makes the burrito look smaller like your image. If you would like something more fuller/filling, I would recommend the Classic Burrito, or getting our Mushroom filling that has more density than the beans you ordered. On a seperate note, I have addressed the staff’s service in addressing this concern you had, to ensure people do not feel neglected when raising queries. Very disappointing experience today. One staff member was extremely rude throughout our order. She sighed, appeared annoyed by our presence, and was complaining the entire time we were ordering. When our food was ready, she threw my burrito onto the counter instead of handing it to me properly. To make matters worse, I was charged $24.99 for a Toasted Burrito Meal while my friend ordered exactly the same meal and was charged only $20.99. I don’t mind mistakes, but poor customer service and inconsistent pricing make for a very unpleasant experience. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$20–40 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Zambrero East Perth is fantastic! The food is always fresh, flavourful, and generously portioned. The staff are friendly, quick, and genuinely helpful, making every visit smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant is clean, well-presented, and perfect for a quick lunch or a healthy takeaway. Easily one of the best spots in the area for delicious Mexican food. Highly recommended!
