This is the second time we have been to “Zum Löwen” - and we are thrilled with the creations, the taste and the wines. A wonderful, calm atmosphere meets high skill! Thank you, Anna Matscher & team. We'll definitely come back.

The worst experience you can have in a starred restaurant. The menu was quite varied in itself, with the possibility of 4.5 or 6 courses. We're going for 4 courses, and the distinction between starters and main courses is not very clear! But nothing alarming and what counted in the end was what was on the plate! In the 3rd course, I had the fish (a turbot), it was very hard and extremely salty, served with small squares of potato. Besides the lack of creativity behind this dish, it was literally unpleasant in mouth, and when I pointed this out to the maître d'hôtel, I barely had time to finish my sentence before she replied in a dry tone "that's how we do it here, I don't can’t do anything for you.” I still insist but there is no initiative (she doesn't even warn the boss..) I found it outrageous, we took our desert (4th course) and we definitely left this mediocre establishment. Service: Dine in Price per person: €100+ Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
