Finest quality wagyu served in so many ways by a passionate chef. Using some family recipes, this is food cooked with care, skill and love. Every course was sensational. An unbelievable experience. The best meal of our lives, without a doubt! From start to finish, the atmosphere is welcoming, intimate, and cozy. Tei and Kiyo are the friendliest people you will ever meet. We had such a good time with them! Every course is prepared with so much care, it’s like watching an artist. Every bite is the best bite and the sake pairing is awesome. We learned a lot, connected with wonderful people, and shared in a meal we will never forget. I’m tired this morning as I’ve been grinding on these reviews, and honestly don’t have much left to give. However, I looked to my right and there is a Kobe Bryant quote on my desk that reads “Life is a constant quest to try to be better today than you were yesterday,” so I gotta get one more review off. I did a Wagyu tasting here at emc and it was one of my favorite meals I had in Tokyo. They give you some history behind Wagyu and the context behind each dish, which I didn’t retain most of as the sake was FLOWIN. All the Wagyu was prepared in a different way, with my favorite being the Wagyu sandwich. Delectable. The staff was so engaging and personable, special shoutout to Mike. He was the MAN! He moved from the US to Japan and has a Japanese wife and kids now. So beast. I can’t be the Kobe Bryant of basketball, but I think I can be of Google/Yelp reviews.
