First time at konel tonight, invited by a friend who is a regular here, and it exceeded expectations. Every dish was innovative, beautifully prepared and genuinely delicious. By the end of the course I was completely full, in the best possible way. I am definitely coming back and already planning to bring my wife next time. I’ll also make sure to have an early, light lunch that day so I can fully enjoy and finish all the courses. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

definitely one of the highlights during my trip to tokyo. it’s a cozy italian restaurant run by a chef and an assistant. i dm them in advance to make sure solo dinner is welcomed. the restaurant is located a bit off the busy areas, in a cute residential neighbourhood. they serve an omakase menu featuring seasonal items but there will be a meat plate, a pasta plate for sure. i honestly i enjoyed every dishes, you can feel that they are cooked with heart. on the side note, the chef literally makes everything by himself down to the bread and pasta. all in all it’s just a great dinner. later on i get to chat with the chef, it’s always fun to talk ask about his inspiration on the food and his journey as a chef. i’ll definitely want to come back next time but also recommend this place to those who is looking for casual italian something less touristy or overhyped. Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
