My husband and I visited recently. I ordered the cinnamon tea while my husband had the matcha latte — the drinks were nice and we had no complaints at all. We ordered them to go and left the café. About five minutes later, my 4-year-old daughter urgently needed to use the restroom, so we came back and politely asked if she could quickly use the toilet. Unfortunately, we were told no because it was already past 1pm and the staff were on break. I understand that break times are important, and I truly respect that. But when it comes to small children, sometimes a little flexibility and kindness can really make a difference for families. Just sharing this as a warm suggestion for future situations.

Our favorite matcha latte we’ve had in Japan! And we’ve had multiple matcha lattes everyday for a week! Friendliest staff, and the store has the loveliest vibe while you wait for your drink. Each matcha was whisked individually, so it had a velvety texture that felt so unique and special! Go for playtea matcha, and stay for the “photo opp”!
