Some restaurants have great food. Only a few create memorable experiences. This place does both. The food was insanely good, and the fact that everything is made fresh by one person makes it even more impressive. You can tell how much care goes into every dish. On top of that, everyone working there was so sweet and welcoming. I left already wanting to come back. If you’re in Kyoto, do yourself a favor and eat here at least once. You won’t regret it. We stumbled upon a true hidden gem in Kyoto – a charming local spot with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that felt like a secret only locals know about. We ordered their lunch set that included pasta, salad, and focaccia, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and perfectly balanced, the focaccia was a nice add but the pasta was INSANE, one of the best we had ever. What made the experience even more special was the wonderful couple that runs the place, who were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming.
