tens. in Gaienmae is so good that even if you stop by planning to just have a drink after dinner, you may find yourself ordering another full course. That was exactly my experience — it was already past 11:00 p.m., I was full, and I meant to have just one drink. Instead, I ended up enjoying almost the entire course. From the chilled capellini with caviar, fresh oysters from Naruto, venison, oden, and Napolitan pasta, all the way to dessert — every single dish was outstanding. Each course was thoughtfully prepared and deeply satisfying.
