Very close to the chaos and noise of Via Corso, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps, but the cafe itself was peaceful, luxurious and eminently clean. The staff was a bit stuck-up, but attentive nonetheless. The food was well-prepared and delicious. It was not cheap but also not ridiculously expensive, given the location and ambience. About 20 euros per entree. They automatically include 10% tip. I highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The Café Romano is part of the Hotel Inghilterra and located in a quiet, calm side street close to the Spanish steps. We spent about two hours there for a relaxed breakfast and greatly enjoyed it. The staff were extraordinarily friendly, always had a smile on their face and catered to our wishes. Every euro here is money well spent and I haven't even mentioned the quality of the food. Kudos to the Café Romano. If I ever get back to Rome, you will find me there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Breakfast

Went for lunch dressed appropriately. Servers came and cleaned and moved things around while avoiding eye contact. Asked for service but none ever came. Very insulting. After twenty minutes, I left, went next door to Tartufi and had a great meal and good service. Skip this place unless you are into pretention.
