We stopped in around lunch time and it was very busy. The line moved smoothly and the workers were efficient. Employees were very friendly and the food tasted delicious. This is exactly what I expect from Chipotle. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20

If there were an option to give zero stars, that is how I would rate my experience at the Marketplace Drive NW location on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at approximately 2:24 p.m. My husband ordered a burrito, and I ordered a chicken bowl. After receiving our meals, I discovered that every utensil bin contained only spoons—even the bins clearly labeled "Forks." I asked an employee working in the kitchen if she could get me a fork. She replied that they were "out of forks." I then politely asked how I was supposed to eat my chicken bowl, which contained chicken, rice, beans, grilled peppers and onions, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, and salsa verde. Her response was simply, "With a spoon." While a spoon may work for some menu items, it is not a practical utensil for eating a fully loaded chicken bowl. The dismissive response made an already frustrating situation even worse. Initially, I considered requesting a refund for just my chicken bowl. However, I decided to request a refund for our entire meal because I did not want to sit and watch my husband eat while I had nothing I could reasonably enjoy. The refund was processed promptly and without issue. We threw our meals away, left the restaurant, and walked to Panera Bread, another restaurant in the same shopping center, where we had lunch instead. Running out of forks is certainly something that can happen. However, once it became apparent that the restaurant was low on forks or had no forks available, management should have been notified immediately. This was a problem that could likely have been resolved quickly with a trip to a nearby retailer such as Walmart or Sam's Club, both located less than 1.5 miles away. As we walked to Panera Bread, my husband mentioned that he had overheard several customers ahead of us asking for forks. That tells me this was not an isolated inconvenience but an issue affecting multiple customers that afternoon. The lack of forks was disappointing, but the dismissive attitude toward customers was even more so. I hope management takes steps to ensure that basic dining necessities are kept in stock and that employees respond to customer concerns with professionalism and courtesy. No customer should have to throw away an entire meal simply because the restaurant could not provide the appropriate utensil to eat it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Service: 1
