Had a wonderful night out at Ginger Rabbit. Great atmosphere and tasty (strong) drinks! Service was on top of it but wasn't too overbearing so was nice. Food was OK, personally would not recommend. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

As someone that has traveled all over to visit various jazz spots like NYC’s Blue Note and SF’s Albatross (back in the 80’s). Ginger Rabbit Jazz Lounge is a beautiful breath of fresh air in The Short North. The band was awesome and the ambience is perfection. The only issue I had was some of the people in attendance thought they were at a sport bar. Yelling across the room and talking so loud I felt sorry for the band. There are a lot of places to go on High street if you want a sport bar environment. Hopefully this was a one night thing and there is love and appreciation for live music. Ginger Rabbit. I’m a fan!
