The wines are excellent! The food is phenomenal! The atmosphere is lively and fun, good for a date. The servers were friendly and knowledgeable. They play real vinyl, good tunes. I’m had no trouble finding lots of gluten free options but I was really jealous of my date getting to eat the bread. He was enjoying it very much. It fills up, get reservations well in advance. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £60–70 Recommendation for vegetarians: Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options Kid-friendliness: Not really for kids in the evening. More of an adult party but still chillvibe.

We visited Goodbye Horses with a group of friends and two children, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. There were no child-friendly options on the menu apart from a £13 cheese toastie. What the menu didn't mention was that the toastie also contained chutney. We only realised this after seeing another customer's order. We asked whether they could simply make a plain cheese toastie for our daughter, but were told that all the toasties were pre-made and that making one without chutney would "completely disrupt" the kitchen's work. What was most disappointing wasn't the lack of options, but the attitude. There was no willingness to accommodate a very simple request or even to acknowledge that a child's dinner had effectively been ruined. The response came across as dismissive and unnecessarily self-important. The atmosphere also felt pretentious. Charging £13 for what is essentially a cheese-and-chutney toastie is already difficult to justify, and judging by other reviews, it isn't even good. Overall, the combination of inflexibility, poor customer service, and an overpriced menu means I wouldn't return or recommend it, especially to anyone visiting with children. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Dietary restrictions: No flexibility at all with the menu. Kid-friendliness: Not at all.
