What an absolutely amazing experience we had tonight. From start to finish everything was perfect. If you want real authentic Italian dishes this is your restaurant. We were a large group of 17 so an assortment of starters were constantly brought out, each one better than the last. The next course hit it out of the park…once again shared and once again leaving us satisfied and full. This restaurant checks every box you are looking for here in Rome! What an incredible experience at Lo Convento! From the moment we arrived, the service was absolutely outstanding. We ordered the Carbonara, sorbet, tiramisu, along with wine and beer, and every single item was fantastic. The Carbonara was authentic and full of flavour, the tiramisu was one of the best we’ve ever had, and the sorbet was the perfect way to finish the meal. A special thank you to Marco, who was without a doubt the best server we’ve had during our time in Rome and possibly EVER! He was friendly, attentive, welcoming, and made our visit truly memorable. We were also proud to be the first Welsh people to visit, which made the experience even more special! The atmosphere, food, drinks, and exceptional hospitality combined to create a perfect evening. If you’re visiting Rome, Lo Convento is an absolute must-visit. We had an excellent time and can’t recommend it highly enough. Grazie mille, Marco and the whole team!
