Lovely pub. Drove down from Scotland in campervan. Arrived quite late and kitchen happily accommodated our late food order. Two meals for £13.49, very tasty and extremely good value. Chef came out to speak to us and even let us sample his new southern fried gravy. Delicious! A few drinks and stayed overnight in their carpark. Highly recommended, we will stay again on the return trip. Our three dogs very happy too. Friendly staff and locals. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Just had a fantastic meal at The Newbold Crown. Most of our group had the weekday £13.49 for 2 meals deal which were good portions, well presented tasty food, and warm and friendly service. They catered to a group of 13 of us and all the food came out hot, and at the same time. Superb value and will definitely be back. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Wonderful atmosphere, the people that work there do a great job. Felt welcome and so comfortable. Dog friendly and would recommend to anyone on Holiday. Really close walk from morning for narrowboats. I had the cottage pie and my wife had the katsu chicken both were very good! Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
