Very disappointing experience at Gran Caffè Rinascimento. The food was poor and definitely not worth the price. The avocado toast was almost laughable, each piece of avocado toast had only a single slice of avocado on it. The eggs were stale, dry, and lacked any freshness or flavor. The café is supposedly known for its coffee art and designs, but when we asked for one, we were told that the person who does them had the day off. From what we observed, that explanation didn't seem genuine. To make matters worse, we specifically requested maple syrup on the pancakes for our 8-year-old child, but the request was ignored and strawberry syrup was served instead. For nearly €40 spent on breakfast, we expected much better food, service, and attention to detail. Overall, a very disappointing experience and not somewhere I would recommend.
