Schnitzelei Mitte is a hidden gem that's definitely worth seeking out! It’s a bit tricky to find at first, but trust Google Maps and follow the directions into the alley of the residential building – you’ll be rewarded with a fantastic dining experience. From the moment we walked in, the lovely staff made us feel at home, greeting us with a welcome beer, which set the tone for the evening. The food here is exceptional. We tried the German tapas and two different kinds of schnitzel, both of which were absolutely out of this world. A standout was the goat cheese spread – it was so delicious, we were in heaven! The menu offers a great variety of dishes that are full of flavor and authenticity. The service was warm and attentive. Our waitress was kind, patiently answering all our questions and making sure we felt comfortable, even though we were the only Americans in the place. At first, we felt a bit out of place, but the genuine hospitality quickly made us feel right at home. Schnitzelei Mitte is a little off the beaten path, but it's well worth the visit. Make sure to make a reservation, as this popular spot fills up quickly. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy outstanding food and a welcoming atmosphere!
