I hate writing bad reviews for local places but I have too here. 4 of us ate here on Sunday October 4th. 2 of us ate the chicken boat and got food poisoning the next morning. The other 2 people were fine. It was the only thing we had not shared all day. Everything else that we ate that day was family style. I called twice and left 2 voice messages. I waited until today to write this really hoping that since the staff seemed so nice that someone would care to return my call. The food poisoning ruined the last day of our trip and we have been out of work all week. Word to the wise, something is not right with the chicken in this restaurant at this time. Unless you want to violently vomit for nearly 2 days and ache so much in the stomach that all you can do is sleep - give this place a skip until they figure out how to cook chicken. First time in Seattle and bumped into Skalka when we're around Waterfront area. Such a cute quiet space with everything mostly self-serve but definitely making ordering process being so efficient. It's pretty straightforward menu as they're specializing on Khachapuri, yes that iconic Georgian cheese bread, just featuring different kind of protein. We got the chicken one, which actually somewhat tasted like eating bolognaise sauce on the cheesy bread! Got the extra yolk, served perfectly runny.
