Had an amazing experience! Our server, Kasy was absolutely exceptional and really went above and beyond to make sure my girlfriend and I were well taken care of. He was attentive, polite, professional, and made us feel welcomed throughout the entire meal. The service was honestly one of the highlights of our visit. Everything was handled perfectly, and you could tell Kashy genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. And the milk bread was AMAZING! Seriously, we would come back just for that alone. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be coming back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner

I am a bit of a martini buff and have sampled them worldwide but predominantly in Toronto and Manhattan. Not at all trying to big time Hamilton but i came in with modest expectations and then bam! Our servers name was Molly. I had gone through the standard ordering procedure of how i wanted it made. Vodka a little dry and dirty etc. I was specific. Normally i have found that these customized requests are partially acknowledged, the bartender is mostly going to make it how they want to make it. Not Molly, i am not sure what i was more impressed with- her ability to listen or her ability to execute- it was THE BEST MARTINI i have ever had and to think my global pursuit would be rewarded in Hamilton. Go look for Molly, not only an awesome server but a next level mixologist. The other thing that stood out was the bread on the menu. It was referred to as Japanese Milk Bread. My thought was that any place that charges for bread has got a set so i was very curious to try it. It was absolutely awesome and in my opinion was underpriced. The Standard in my books is top notch, no matter where you are from and Hamilton is so fortunate to be the city that houses this gem of an establishment.
