It’s located in upscale hotel & has that niche vibes. Tried their fondue which was served with boiled potatoes & bread. We had taken mild fondue which was made out of 4 cheeses. In the end, they serve that cooked cheese by scraping it. We were also served cheese croquette and that tasted quite nice with jam. The quantity was quite a lot, we couldn’t finish our fondue which we took for 2 persons but were 4 to savour, probably because we were still new to world of fondue. I really liked bread that was being served - it looked aesthetically beautiful Staff was cordial and Derek helped us in deciding which fondue to order & when I asked which all cheeses it’s made of, he explained it well too. I just found it little rip off to be charged 10CHF for tap water which is being written on menu as Zermatt water, maybe thats the norm in Switzerland and not in London ( since we live in London, so new concept for us) If one has to try fondue, good place to try in this posh & upscale restaurant in heart of Zermatt. You have to have fondue in Switzerland!! Sooo good! In the Summer we had to ask around for a good fondue place and all the locals said Saycheese! I was wary about the name but goodness it was good! The ambiance (it’s in a basement) and overall aesthetic was perfect for a night of fondue! We did the local cheese fondue and ended with the Toblerone dessert fondue with fresh fruit.
